Why Choose SJ Petro for Your Fracturing Unit Set – It's Not Just Price

1. OEM Direct – No Middleman Markup

We are the manufacturer, not a distributor. You pay factory-direct prices. Compare our quotes with Western brands – you’ll typically see 20-30% lower for equivalent API-spec equipment. The savings come from our integrated supply chain, lower labor costs, and efficient manufacturing – not from lower quality.

2. Transparent Cost Breakdown – No Hidden Fees

When we quote a fracturing unit set price, we provide a detailed line-item breakdown:

  • Pump unit (engine, transmission, pump, frame, controls)

  • Optional automation level

  • Blender and accessories

  • Data van hardware & software

  • High-pressure iron (length, fittings, swivels)

  • Spare parts kit (itemized)

  • Export packing & documentation

  • FOB port charges

You see exactly what you’re paying for. No "surprise” charges at signing.

3. Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Analysis – We Help You Compare

Many buyers only compare purchase price. We go further: we provide a 5-year TCO projection comparing our equipment vs. competitors, factoring in:

  • Fuel consumption (based on actual engine maps)

  • Maintenance parts cost and frequency (using our field data)

  • Expected component life (fluid end, packing, valves)

  • Resale value (we help you estimate)

  • Warranty coverage and support response time

This analysis often shows that even if our initial price is slightly higher than a discount competitor (it rarely is), our total cost is lower over the equipment’s life.

4. Flexible Payment & Financing

We understand that upfront capital can be a constraint. Options include:

  • Standard – 30% deposit, 40% against pre-shipment inspection, 30% after commissioning

  • Letter of credit (L/C at sight or deferred)

  • Leasing – Operating or finance lease (12-60 months) through Sinopec’s financial partners

  • Lease-to-own – Monthly payments with ownership at end of term

  • Shared savings – Pay a lower daily rate but share a percentage of cost savings (for large projects)

We can structure payments to match your cash flow.

5. API Certified Quality – At Competitive Pricing

Our equipment carries API 7K (pumping units), API 8C (control systems), and API Q1. We are certified by API, ISO, and CE. You don’t sacrifice safety or reliability for price. Third-party inspection (ABS, DNV, BV) is welcome – we absorb the cost of witnessing at our factory.

6. Built to Last – Field-Proven in China & Abroad

Our fracturing units have been used in Sinopec’s own fields for over a decade – including the massive Fuling shale gas project (China’s largest). They have also been exported to the Middle East, Central Asia, South America, and Russia. You’re not beta-testing new equipment. It’s proven.

7. Global Parts & Service – No "Orphaned” Equipment

A cheap price means nothing if you can’t get parts. We maintain regional spare parts hubs (Dubai, Houston, Singapore) and offer 24/7 remote support. For customers under our maintenance contract, we guarantee parts availability within 72 hours air freight.

How to Get an Accurate Fracturing Unit Set Price Quote

To give you a meaningful price, we need a few details about your operation. Please provide:

  1. Fleet size – How many pumps? Total target hydraulic horsepower (HP)?

  2. Maximum treating pressure – 10k, 15k, or 20k psi?

  3. Proppant & fluid type – Sand, ceramic, resin-coated? Crosslinked gel, slickwater, acid?

  4. Job duration – Typical hours per stage, stages per month? (influences duty cycle)

  5. Mounting preference – Trailer, truck, skid, containerized?

  6. Automation level – Basic manual, semi-automated (HMI), fully automated (remote & telemetry)?

  7. Ancillary equipment – Do you need blender, data van, manifold, sand storage, chemical system?

  8. Power preference – Diesel-only, electric (grid), or hybrid?

  9. Target delivery timeline – Urgent (3-4 months) or standard (5-6 months)?

  10. Support requirements – Just equipment, or equipment + commissioning + training + long-term maintenance contract?

Send this information to our sales team. We will respond with:

  • A preliminary budget range within 48 hours

  • A detailed technical proposal with exact specifications within 10 working days

  • A firm fixed price (FOB China) after specification freeze

We do not charge for quoting. We do not pressure you to buy. We simply give you the information to make an informed decision.

FAQ – Fracturing Unit Set Price

Q1: Why don't you publish exact prices on your website?

A: Because every fracturing spread is different. A 2,500 HP pump with basic controls and a 2,500 HP pump with full automation and telemetry can differ in price by $80,000+. Publishing a single price would mislead customers. We prefer to give you an accurate, customized quote based on your exact needs.

Q2: How does your price compare to buying used equipment?

A: A used 2,500 HP pump might cost $150,000-$220,000 vs. our new unit at $350,000+. But used equipment typically has no warranty, unknown maintenance history, and higher failure rates. Over 5 years, the used pump may require $150,000+ in repairs and lost time. Our new unit includes full warranty, predictable maintenance, and lower downtime risk. We can provide a TCO comparison for your specific case.

Q3: Can I buy just one pump, not a whole fleet?

A: Yes. We sell single units, complete spreads, and everything in between. Many customers start with 2-3 pumps and expand later. We offer the same per-unit pricing regardless of order size (though volume discounts apply for 5+ pumps).

Q4: What is included in your standard warranty? Does it add to the price?

A: Standard warranty is 18 months from shipment or 12 months from commissioning (whichever first). It covers defects in material and workmanship. Extended warranty (up to 5 years) is available at additional cost – typically 5-10% of equipment price.

Q5: Are there any hidden costs – shipping, taxes, import duties?

A: Our price is FOB China port (usually Shanghai or Tianjin). That includes export packing, inland transport to port, and export customs clearance. It does NOT include ocean freight, insurance, destination port charges, import duties, or inland delivery to your site. We can provide a separate CIF or DDP quote upon request – just tell us your delivery address.

Q6: Do you offer financing? What are the typical terms?

A: Yes. Through Sinopec’s financial partners, we offer:

  • Operating lease: Monthly payments, equipment returned at end (12-60 months)

  • Finance lease / lease-to-own: Monthly payments, ownership transferred at end

  • Standard credit: 30/40/30 payment schedule with LC

Interest rates vary based on your credit rating and country. We can introduce you to financing partners – we do not lend directly.

Q7: Can I get a discount for multiple units or a complete spread?

A: Yes. Volume discounts are available:

  • 3-5 pumps: 3-5% discount

  • 6-10 pumps: 8-10% discount

  • 10+ pumps or complete spread (pumps + blender + data van + manifold): 12-15% discount

Discounts apply to like items. Contact us for a volume quote.

Q8: How long is your price valid once quoted?

A: Standard price validity: 30 days for firm quotes (due to steel and component cost fluctuations). For larger projects, we can fix pricing for 90-120 days with a deposit.

Q9: What if I need a custom configuration not in your standard product line?

A: We engineer custom solutions regularly – e.g., electric frac pumps, containerized units for fly-in operations, extreme-temperature packages (-45°C or +55°C). Custom engineering adds 10-20% to base price and extends lead time by 30-60 days. We’ll give you a separate quote.

Q10: Can I visit your factory before making a purchase decision?

A: Absolutely. We welcome customers to inspect our manufacturing facility in Jingzhou, Hubei. We can also arrange visits to nearby oilfields (within 2-3 hours) to see our equipment in operation. Travel and accommodation support available for serious buyers.
