Product Types We Manufacture
We don’t just make one "standard” coiled tubing. Our product portfolio is built for real operational diversity.
-
Standard Carbon Steel CT (CT70–CT90) – Best for routine well intervention, cleanouts, and light workover. Economical and reliable.
-
High-Strength CT (CT100–CT110) – Designed for deep wells, high differential pressure, and extended-reach drilling. Higher tensile strength allows smaller OD strings to reach deeper.
-
Low-Temperature CT – Special chemistry and heat treatment for arctic and cold-climate use. Proven at -45°C in Siberian fields.
-
Corrosion-Resistant Alloy (CRA) CT – Available on demand for H₂S / CO₂ sour service. Please share your fluid composition for a material recommendation.
-
Tapered Coiled Tubing Strings – Optimized weight distribution – thicker wall at the bottom for strength, thinner wall up top for lighter weight and longer reach.
Where Our Coiled Tubing Is Used
Our coiled tubing manufacturers' expertise serves these applications globally:
-
Well intervention (sand cleanout, acidizing, milling, fishing)
-
Velocity string installation (gas well deliquification)
-
Underbalanced drilling & thru-tubing rotary drilling
-
Logging & perforating with CT-conveyed tools
-
Cementing & plug setting
-
Paraffin & scale removal in mature fields
Why Choose SJ Petro as Your Coiled Tubing Manufacturer?
Because you need a supplier who answers emails, ships on time, and stands behind every weld.
| Customer Concern | How SJ Petro Solves It |
|---|---|
| "Can you deliver custom dimensions?” | Yes – we manufacture to order, not from limited stock. OD, WT, length, grade – all flexible. |
| "How do I know the quality is consistent?” | Full NDT (UT, ET), tensile & hardness tests, and hydrostatic testing per batch. Reports included. |
| "What if I need tapered strings?” | We engineer tapered strings daily. Send your well profile. |
| "Do you have export experience?” | We export to over 15 countries – Saudi, Kuwait, Oman, Russia, Indonesia, Nigeria, Brazil. |
| "Is your pricing competitive for a real API-grade product?” | Direct factory pricing – no middlemen. Request a comparison. |

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: Are you an actual coiled tubing manufacturer or a trading company?
A: We are a direct manufacturer – a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinopec Oilfield Equipment Corporation. Our factory has been producing coiled tubing since 2004. You’re welcome to request a virtual factory tour or video call with our production team.
Q2: What certifications do you hold?
A: API 5ST, API Q1, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. API monogram available upon request for applicable sizes/grades.
Q3: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for custom coiled tubing?
A: Typically one full reel (approximately 5,000–7,500 meters depending on OD). For smaller trial orders, please contact us – we can sometimes accommodate.
Q4: Can you provide tapered coiled tubing strings?
A: Yes. Tapered CT strings (varying wall thickness along length) are a standard offering. We’ll design the taper profile based on your well’s dogleg severity, depth, and required working pressures.
Q5: How long does delivery take?
A: Standard CT strings: 30–45 days after order confirmation. Custom grades or large quantities: 50–60 days. Expedited options are possible – just ask.
Q6: Do you offer after-sales technical support?
A: Absolutely. We provide:
-
Pre-sale job planning and string selection advice
-
Fatigue life modeling
-
On-site commissioning assistance (optional)
-
Operator training (remote or on-site)
Q7: Can you supply coiled tubing for sour gas wells (H₂S)?
A: Yes – for sour service we recommend our corrosion-resistant alloy (CRA) coiled tubing or specially heat-treated low-alloy steel. Please share your H₂S/CO₂ partial pressures and we will advise.
Q8: What payment terms do you accept?
A: Typically T/T (30% deposit, 70% before shipment) or LC at sight for international customers. Negotiable for long-term partners.
