System Configurations (Product Types)

We offer four standard system families, each fully integrated:

System Family Configuration Pump Layout Primary Use
SJ-CS-S (Single Skid) One skid, single pump 1 × TPH400 Land, basic offshore, cost‑optimized
SJ-CS-D (Dual Skid) One skid, twin pump 2 × TPH400 High pressure, deep wells, redundancy
SJ-CT-D (Truck Dual) Truck‑mounted, twin pump 2 × TPH400 Onshore mobility, multi‑pad campaigns
SJ-CS-2S (Offshore Split) Two half‑skids, twin pump 2 × TPH400 Platform crane limits (<15t per half)
SJ-CC (Containerized) 20‑ft container, single or twin 1–2 × TPH400 Corrosive, remote, or tender‑assisted

Applications

Our integrated cementing systems are deployed across:

Application Recommended System Why
Land deep wells (4,000‑7,000m) SJ-CS-D (twin skid) High pressure, redundancy
Shale gas multi‑well pads SJ-CT-D (truck) Fast moves between wells
Offshore platform (crane limited) SJ-CS-2S (split skid) Each half <15t
Deepwater drillship Custom high‑pressure skid 18,000 psi, foam capable
Remote desert / jungle SJ-CS-D with desert package 55°C cooling, sand seals
Arctic / permafrost Any system with arctic package -40°C heated enclosures
Corrosive / marine environment SJ-CC (container) ISO container protects equipment
Workover / remedial cementing SJ-CS-S (single skid) Smaller footprint, lower cost

Why Choose SJ Petro for a Complete Cementing System?

1. Single Source – No Vendor Coordination – We deliver the entire system: pumps, mixer, bulk tanks, controls, hoses. You write one PO, pay one invoice, call one number for support.

2. Factory Integrated & Tested – We do not ship components separately for you to "figure out.” Every system is assembled, plumbed, wired, and tested at our facility.

3. Fast Field Rig‑Up – Because hoses are pre‑cut and labeled, and modules are designed to fit together, a typical 4‑person crew can rig up the system in 4–8 hours (first time) – faster on repeat jobs.

4. Common Spares Across Systems – Pumps, valves, sensors, and ACM parts are identical across our skid, truck, and container families. If you have multiple systems, you stock fewer spares.

5. Global Certifications Included – API 7K (pumps), API 10A (cement), ABS/DNV for offshore, NACE optional. We provide the certificates.

6. Flexible Power Options – Diesel‑hydraulic (standard), electric‑hydraulic (grid or genset), or all‑electric (for platforms with ample power). Specify at order.

7. Lifetime Software Updates – For the PLC and HMI, we provide free software updates for the life of the system (with active support contract). No forced upgrades.

8. Sinopec Engineering Backing – Our system designs incorporate lessons from thousands of cementing jobs across Sinopec’s global operations.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: What is the difference between a cementing system and a cementing unit?
A cementing unit is just the pump and mixer on a skid or truck. A cementing system adds bulk cement handling, mix water tanks, additive systems, and integrated controls – everything needed to mix and pump cement without external support.

Q2: Can I buy the system without bulk tanks (use my own)?
Yes. We can supply the cementing unit and ACM alone, or the full system including bulk tanks. Specify your preference.

Q3: How long does it take to manufacture a complete cementing system?
Standard skid systems (single or twin pump): 4–6 months. Truck systems: 5–7 months. Containerized or split offshore systems: 6–8 months. Custom high‑pressure deepwater systems: 8–12 months.

Q4: Do you provide installation and commissioning?
Yes. Our field service team will supervise assembly, connect utilities, run a full function test (with water and cement substitute), and train your crew. Typically 3–5 days on site.

Q5: What is the footprint of a typical system?
Twin pump skid with bulk tanks: approx 12 m × 5 m (40 ft × 16 ft). Truck system: same footprint as the truck (12 m × 2.5 m) + bulk tanks nearby. Container system: 6 m × 2.5 m per container.

Q6: Can the system be operated remotely (no operator at the panel)?
Yes – with our remote control option, you can operate the system from a separate cabin up to 100 m away (wired or wireless). For fully autonomous operation (remote from office), add the RemoteCem cloud module.

Q7: Do you offer a training simulator for the system?
Yes. We provide a laptop‑based simulator that replicates the HMI and PLC logic. Your crew can practice mixing, pumping, and troubleshooting offline.

Q8: What is the warranty on a complete system?
18 months from shipment or 12 months from commissioning (whichever occurs first). Extended warranties available for purchase.

Q9: Can the system handle both cement and acid (for acidizing)?
Yes, but the wetted parts must be specified for acid service (stainless steel or special coatings). Standard carbon steel will corrode. Tell us your intended fluids when ordering.

Q10: How does your system compare to major Western brands?
Our ACM density control (±0.02 g/cm³) matches the world’s best. Our pumps are API 7K certified. The main difference is price – we are 20–30% lower for equivalent specifications – and lead time (4–6 months vs 8–12 months).

Q11: Do you provide spare parts kits with the system?
Yes. We recommend a first‑year spares kit including seals, valves, sensors, and a spare PLC battery. We can also set up a consignment stock at your location.

Q12: How do I get a quote for a complete cementing system?
Provide: desired pump configuration (single/twin), max pressure, max rate, power source (diesel/electric), environment (land/offshore/desert/arctic), and whether you need bulk tanks and additive systems. We will respond with a system proposal, layout drawing, and fixed price within 7 business days.
