Why Choose SJ Petro for Your Workover Rig Solutions?

1. One Contract, Complete Accountability
When you buy a solution from us, you are not chasing multiple vendors (rig supplier, trainer, spares provider, logistics company). We own the entire scope. If something goes wrong, we fix it – no finger-pointing.

2. Decades of Field Engineering, Not Just Factory Experience
Our solution architects have worked on over 2,000 workover jobs themselves. They know what breaks, what training gaps cause accidents, and which spare parts are actually needed. That knowledge is baked into every solution package.

3. Flexible Commercial Models
Cannot afford a large upfront payment? We offer operating leases, finance leases, and rent-to-own. Want to test before committing? Short-term rental (3–12 months) with option to buy. We work with you.

4. Global Solution Delivery Track Record
We have delivered complete workover rig solutions to 18 countries across five continents. Our logistics team knows how to ship to difficult locations – jungle, desert, island, arctic.

5. Local Presence in Key Regions
We have solution support offices in Houston (Americas), Dubai (Middle East & Africa), and Singapore (Asia-Pacific). Each office stocks spares and has solution engineers who speak the local language.

6. Transparent Pricing – No Hidden Costs
Our solution quote includes a line-by-line breakdown: rig cost, shipping estimate, training days, commissioning days, spares kit, and support contract. We separate optional items so you choose what you need.

7. Sinopec Financial Strength
As a Sinopec subsidiary, we are not a small private company that might disappear. Your solution is backed by one of the world’s largest oilfield equipment groups.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: What information do you need to propose a workover rig solution?
At minimum: well depth, tubing size and weight, expected pull load (or we calculate), site location (country, remote/accessible), and whether you need snubbing. More details (well diagram, power availability, crew experience level) help us tailor better.

Q2: How long does it take from inquiry to rig on site?
Typical: 2 weeks for solution design and quote, 6–8 months for manufacturing (if no stock), 4–6 weeks shipping, 2 weeks commissioning. Total 8–10 months. For urgent needs, we sometimes have rental rigs available in regional hubs – ask.

Q3: Do you offer solutions for existing rigs from other manufacturers?
Yes. Our upgrade solutions include adding snubbing, installing remote monitoring, providing training, or setting up spares programs for any brand of workover rig. We inspect the rig first.

Q4: Can you finance the entire solution?
Yes, through our leasing partners. We can structure payments over 1–5 years. Operating lease (off-balance-sheet) available in many jurisdictions. Credit check and deposit required.

Q5: What happens if a part fails after warranty?
We guarantee 15-year parts availability. You order, we ship. For Enterprise support clients, we keep the part in your regional hub and ship within 72 hours.

Q6: Do you provide solution engineering for offshore platforms?
Absolutely. We have delivered solutions for jack-ups, fixed platforms, and TLPs. We work with your platform’s structural engineer to ensure deck loading, crane access, and corrosion protection meet requirements.

Q7: Can you include a mud pump in the solution?
Yes. We add a 300–600 HP triplex mud pump (skid-mounted, diesel or electric drive) for sand washing, cement displacement, or light drilling. Specify when requesting a quote.

Q8: How many people from my company need to be trained?
We recommend training at least 2 full crews (8–10 people) to cover shift changes and leave. Train-the-trainer allows you to train additional crews later at lower cost.

Q9: What is the typical ROI for a workover rig solution?
If you are currently hiring workover contractors, owning your own rig typically pays back within 12–24 months (depending on utilization). We can provide a simple calculator – share your current contractor rates and expected workover frequency.

Q10: How do I start the conversation?
Fill out our Solution Request Form on this page or email solutions@sjpetro.com. We will schedule a 30-minute call to understand your wells, then send a preliminary solution outline within 5 business days.
