Q1: What is included in a typical turnkey drilling package vs. a "bare rig”?
A: A bare rig gives you just the mast, drawworks, substructure, and rotary table – no pumps, no BOP, no power, no control system. Our turnkey package includes everything down to the drill pipe handling tools and spare parts. You add only drill pipe, casing, and mud chemicals. We also offer "plug-and-drill” where we even supply initial tool joint compounds and lubricants.
Q2: How long does it take to deliver a complete turnkey drilling package overseas?
A: From order to port of loading: 120–180 days depending on depth rating and customization. Add 30–45 days shipping (e.g., China to Middle East or Africa). Our project manager gives you a Gantt chart with every milestone – design, procurement, fabrication, yard assembly, testing, packing, shipping.
Q3: Do you provide training for local crews on the complete package?
A: Yes. Standard training is 4 weeks: 1 week classroom (system overview, safety, HSE), 2 weeks hands-on at our factory on the actual package before it’s disassembled, and 1 week on-site after reassembly. We also provide tablet-based interactive manuals and video tutorials.
